Are Dynamics 365 and Microsoft 365 the same thing?

No. Despite the shared “365” branding, they are different products. Microsoft 365 is the productivity suite (Outlook, Office, Teams, SharePoint). Dynamics 365 is the business-applications suite (CRM and ERP). They integrate closely but are licensed and used separately.

Do I need both Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365?
